About Us

AO Hall was established in 2005 by Alison Ozanne and Louise Hall, two leading Guernsey advocates specialising in dispute resolution and employment law. The founding of AO Hall signalled a new generation of law firm in Guernsey, focused on key areas and delivering intellectual expertise through approachable people.
 
From the very outset, we wanted to combine the gravitas of solid legal expertise with a fresh, dynamic and friendly approach. We didn’t buy in to the traditional law firm mentality and we didn’t think our clients did, so we asked them. The answer was loud and clear: our clients wanted quality advice, delivered by accessible people.
 
We set out to deliver that goal and our clients’ feedback tells us that we’re achieving it. From those early beginnings, we have grown rapidly, adding two new core practice areas of corporate and fiduciary to respond to our clients’ needs. In the space of a few years, AO Hall has become a specialist law firm with an enviable reputation in its core practice areas of corporate, dispute resolution, employment and fiduciary.
 
We’re very proud that our growing reputation is recognised by leading legal directories such as Legal 500 and Chambers, who have said that we bring ‘City standards’ to Guernsey and that we have an ‘excellent team’. We hope to maintain that reputation by only recruiting lawyers who are technically proficient and who also keep to our ethos of putting our clients’ needs at the centre of everything we do.
